Assistance needed to report on VIP incidents

How do others report on incidents that are associated with VIPs?   We have a need to create a report for seeing all open incidents that have a VIP as the caller.   Has anyone created this report?   If yes, please share how the report was created.

Hi Judy,



This should be pretty easy using a feature called "dot walking.



They key is to choose "Show related fields" from the field chooser.

From there, you can drill in to the fields on the caller record, like VIP and create a filtered report for VIP (or any other attribute you wish)

I'm trying to create the same report, unfortunately I don't fully understand your instructions, which boxes are you working within?   The "add filter condition" section of the report?   I can't get mine to behave similarly.



Could you zoom out with your screenshots so I can see where you are clicking these options please?   I am on Istanbul.

Yes, this is in the condition builder within the report. 7 months ago on my reply... the screenshots would have been from Istanbul.
