Hi Anurag,
We had a similar request to give read only access to certain groups. Our SN support team created custom roles to give read only access to Project & Demand tables and then added this roles to that specific user groups. The users were able to view the demand & project records.
Hope this helps

Hi Dhiren,
I also want the users with the role business_stakeholder is able to edit the PPM applications and not just the approval for demand and timecard.
Thanks
Anurag

Hi Anurag,
When it comes to customization we can do anything and everything as Admins, like providing the role under contains of your parent role. The problem or question is how do you handle roles and licenses in your Tool which your Product Manager would be aware of. So the question comes up like do you create custom roles and apply to the Target table and add it under your business statkeholder role OR use the OOB roles for PPM module and provide it under Stake holder.
So talk to Servicenow on the licenses part, as soon as you provide the roles to your users they come under license usage. Please speak to your Servicenow partner for more information
Mark ✅ Correct if this solves your issue and also mark 👍 Helpful if it helps resolve your problem
Thanks,
Saji

Hi Anurag,
I am confused about what you are asking. In the initial post you mention read role then in a 2nd post you want them to be able to edit PPM applications.
if you want them to read only ... they could have the it_project_user & it_demand_user
if you want the to edit ... they could have it_project_manager & it_demand_manager
