Idea Portal Limit

Good Morning,

I have a specific requirement for the Idea portal. I attempted to modify the Widget that is embedded on that portal but it did not work well. 

We need to limit the categories that are selectable to only be able to choose one category instead of multiple.

Has anyone been able to do this functionaly?

The record in table "Idea module" contains this definition in field "Category limit". The field is not visible on the form OOB. See the documentation for full details:
