It has been proposed by a vendor that our normal changes include in the schedule any potential roll back time when creating the schedule for the normal change. I have not been able to find best practices to decide on this. Are there any thoughts on schedules and normal changes?

My organization includes time to validate a change during the scheduled window. We do not plan for a roll back. I am curious as to why they suggest this?

This is still puzzling me as well. I do not see the benefit of extending the change window. In the long run, it could prevent other changes from happening if conflict calendars start to overlap within the organization.
