Difference Between Managed Documents and Knowledge Articles

Hi ServiceNow Community,

I'm trying to understand the key differences between Managed Documents and Knowledge Articles in ServiceNow. While I know that Knowledge Articles are used for capturing and sharing knowledge across the organization, I'm not entirely sure how Managed Documents fit into this picture.

  1. What are the main distinctions between Managed Documents and Knowledge Articles?
  2. Can I use Managed Documents as a way to subsidize or enhance my existing Knowledge Articles (e.g., attaching managed documents to knowledge articles for more detailed reference)?
  3. Are there any best practices for using both in a complementary manner within the Knowledge Management process?

Any insights, experiences, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
