HELP! - How to uninstall or disable the plugin ""Encrypted Workflow Scratchpad"

Patrick Rajao
Giga Expert

We are having problems with the automatic opening of incidents via ZABBIX, doubling, tripling and even quadrupling the opening of incidents for the same alert.
We are suspicious that it started to occur after activating or installing the plugin (Encrypted Workflow Scratchpad).
We are trying to deactivate or uninstall and we are not able to show the following message when we click on the RollBack Batch option (Figure 01):
This context is not the most recent recorded: w Scratchpad 12/23/2022 02:15:00, most recent context: and Scoped App 12/23/2022 04:15:00
(Figure 02)

We urgently need to know step-by-step how to uninstall and/or deactivate this plugin, as we are not succeeding.

Steps to reproduce:
1 - System Plugins
2 - RollBack Batch - (Figure 02)
3 - OK
4 - There it displays the message:
This context is not the most recent recorded: w Scratchpad 12/23/2022 02:15:00, most recent context: and Scoped App 12/23/2022 04:15:00
(Figure 02)

Hello,

After a plugin is activated, you cannot disable or deactivate it. If needed, you can hide the functionality. You should thoroughly test, in a non-production instance, the specific features and functionalities that are installed when you activate the plugin before using them in a production instance.

Please check the below article:-

https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0716414

However some plugins can be rolled back please check the below docs for the same:-

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-platform-administration/page/administer/table-administratio...

Looking at the error message seems that after you installed the plugins there was some other activity / plugin installed on your instance. I would suggest to raise a Hi ticket with ServiceNow if it is a customer account, they will e much better equipped to help you as we do not have access to your instance.
