How do I set an HR case state to closed, based on a type choice selection

I have a new form that when the type choice selection = Recruiting Event and after HR Agent sets this to close complete. 

Existing notification email sent is to accept or reject decision. 

Existing Business rule - if state is awaiting acceptance. 

Current state of HR case is set to Awaiting Approval. 

I am having a hard time figuring out how to make the change to send a notification of closed complete and keep the hr case closed.

Hi,

Can you give a bit more information as to your question. Are you meaning via script and to affect mass records or were you doing this as a one-off scenario or something else entirely?

This is part of a new form for recruiting. All other hr cases seem to have a state of -Awaiting Approval

Glad my reply above was helpful to get a bit more information from you as you've now added that to your post, thanks. So, essentially, it sounds like you're wanting to skip the awaiting approval/awaiting acceptance step and allow the agent to simply close the case without needing confirmation from the user, is that correct?
