Service Now confimred there is a plugin

Activate the Email Retention plugin (servicenow.com)

Would have been nice if the documentation had referenced the need for a plugin

As explained, the rule is not present and it is not possible to select the table sys_email when creating a new rule.....

Hi there,

Not being able to select sys_email in a new Archive Rule record is expected behavior. To be able to do so, you need to add "sys_email" to System Property "glide.ui.permitted_tables".

If creating a new Archive rule for sys_email is a good practice or not, I have no clue on, never looked at it actually. Just responding to your question about not being able to create a new Archive Rule for sys_email.

Kind regards,
