Hi Community,

I’m trying to find official ServiceNow documentation about the sys_portal_preferences table. From what I understand, this table stores user-specific portal settings, but I’d like to confirm its exact role and usage.

Has anyone worked with this table or knows what it is responsible for? For example:

  • What kind of data does it store (themes, widget states, etc.)?
  • When is it typically queried or updated?
  • Any best practices for managing ACLs for this table?

I encountered an error related to sys_portal_preferences when ending an impersonation session, and I suspect it’s due to internal processing. Any insights or references to official docs would be greatly appreciated!
