Multi Provider SSO configuration (SAML SSO) - How to Bypass the SAML SSO as a System Administrator?

Hello experts,

I am very new to ServiceNow and supporting client on SAML configuration in ServiceNow.

I have 2 clarifications:

  1. If I activate the SAML, how can I as System Admin get into the system? Can URL manipulation with login.do do this? I should be able to bypass the SSO configuration with login.do, correct?
  2. Before I go ahead and activate it, I need to test connection first. If I click Test Connection, it opens a popup window and ask me to sign in. Is this expected? Hope the screenshot below clarifies.
