New Topic Underneath Employee Taxonomy

Hello,

I am trying to create a new Topic underneath the OOTB Employee Taxonomy. 

I've created it, and ensured it has a child topic which also has a Quick Link associated with it:

However, when I click 'Save' I am presented with this error:

What am I supposed to do as clicking the advanced portal navigation takes me to the below page which has no option to sync menu changes:

@MichaelCreatura The sync menu changes appears on the related list on Advanced Portal navigation form.
