I was able to save the record producer as a draft using the article below!
I would like to know the table information so I can display this saved data in a report. (I'm planning a report that will display items currently in draft.)

You can see the save as draft in sc_cart_item table. Create a report on same.

Table name is sc_cart_item

You can create a report and group by based on Item or Requested For or Created by fields and it will help to track draft items proactively and avoid performance issues.
