What's the best ServiceNow application you've never heard of?

In my opinion, it's an easy choice: Order Management for Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (OMT)

This is a fairly new industry application offered by ServiceNow. There are a handful of customers today using the app in ServiceNow, but I see 'hockey stick growth' in the future for this application!

I know how ServiceNow has named this application. It implies that only Telecom, Media and Technology companies can use this app, however once you see what this application can do, I think it spans across nearly all verticals. Let me ask you some questions to make my point.

To ServiceNow Sales Teams:

• How many of your customers sell products or services B2B or B2C?
• Do they desire full visibility for themselves and their customers throughout the fulfillment lifecycle?
• Do they follow repeatable steps to fulfill certain types of orders?
• Do they desire the ability to easily integrate their ordering system to other platforms?
• Do they desire to automatically track inventory, configuration items, or assets for the products purchased?
• Do they desire a platform capable of omni-channel support for products sold?
• Do they desire a platform capable of ingesting event monitoring information on the products sold?
• Do they desire quicker product launch times and shortened time to revenue?

Who wouldn't want these things? Am I right? These are not just the desires of the telecom vertical, but for ALL companies desiring to improve their order management and assurance capabilities.

Sales folks...My hunch is you have existing customers that use ServiceNow for IT, HR, ITOM, or SecOps today. But, does that same company even know that Order Management for Telecommunications, Media, and Technology exists? There is a universe of untapped potential out in the market for companies to run their Order to Cash business through OMT.

To ServiceNow admins, developers, architects: Now is the time to start expanding your skills and showing your value by adding a new skill.
