Hi All,
For me one of the most obvious use cases for AIOps in telecoms is the analysis of the event log information being generated by some/all of the devices/systems on the network, to assist one in determining if the health of the network, and by implication customer facing services, are currently operating in a nominal state.
In the Enterprise IT space such a capability is provide by ServiceNow in the form of ITOM HLA [Health Log Analytics]. I have several questions regarding the applicability of this functionality in the telco space [i.e. TSOM];
1) Is HLA [for events] compatible with TSOM in the same manner as ITOM?
2) Does HLA relate to the base TSOM/ITOM Event Management functionality in any way? Can the two co-exist or is it a case of either Event Management [using decision table rules to evaluate event data] or HLA [using AI to analyse event data] on the same instance. And a follow on Q, do they share any tables [related to the ingested events]?
3) It is unclear to me whether HLA utilises PI or GenAI, thus not sure if the TSOM licensing required is Pro [PI] or Pro Plus [GenAI]?
Any assistance with the above would be greatly appreciated.
