OMT Boot Camp 2.0 lab Create New order wizard is not working

Hi Everyone,

I am new to ServiceNow,  I am experiencing an issue in my ServiceNow CSM/FSM Lab for Order Management for Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) Fundamentals.

Issue

When I open an Account record and click Create New Order, I briefly receive the following pop-up message:

"Component is not configured. Add Details in the configuration pane."

Instead of opening the expected Order Type Selection Wizard.

After a few seconds, the system automatically falls back to the legacy Create New Order page, where I can manually select values from multiple fields and create the order.

 

  • Following the OMT Boot Camp 2.0 lab guide exactly.

  • Logged in as Mike Davis (Order Fulfillment Manager).

  • Opened CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace.

  • On Funco Intl account, clicked Create Order.

  • Instead of the "Choose an order type" modal shown in the lab guide, I receive:

    "Component is not configured. Add Details in the configuration pane."

  • The system then falls back to the legacy order creation page.

  • Browser console shows no JavaScript errors.

  • UX Add-on Event Mapping "Create customer orders" is active and references the application "Configurable Workspace for Order Management".

  • However, I cannot find a corresponding workspace experience in my instance.

Has anyone encountered a missing Order Capture UI / Order Creation Wizard component in the OMT Fundamentals lab instance?
