Hello All,
I am currently in Help Desk Level IT and looking to move into ServiceNow Development. I have been working on the developer learning path, but I just noticed it mentions being an experienced administrator to "Be Successful'' with this course. Is this just a recommendation or is it actually needed to get the Certification/Land Job opportunities?
Also just as a side note, I also know basic web development(HTML CSS JS) in case that may change anything lol.
Thank you for your responses,
Ian

Hello,
You need to take the ServiceNow Fundamentals course to be able to take the Application Developer course (Application Developer Fundamentals). While technically I don't think you need to achieve the system administrator certification, the course is a pre-req.
It would be recommended to get the Sys Admin cert before going to application developer.

Hello Allen,
Thank you for your response. I did some more looking after you said that and realized the Admin path mainly entails the fundamentals pre-req course so I will most likely take the test for the cert anyway.
Thank you!
Ian
