Hi Team,
I need assistance with an issue related to choice dependencies.
Requirement:
- I have a field called Category, where "Access" is one of the options.
- The Subcategory field has multiple choices, and its dependencies work correctly at the form level.
Issue:
- While dependencies function as expected in the form, they do not work in the list view and report level.
- When applying conditions at the list and report levels, all subcategory choices appear instead of showing only the dependent ones.
Could you please provide a solution to ensure dependencies work consistently across all levels?
Thanks!!

Hi @AndreaDelga
- While dependencies function as expected in the form, they do not work in the list view and report level.
- When applying conditions at the list and report levels, all subcategory choices appear instead of showing only the dependent ones.
For both, this is the expected behavior. Category and subcategory work as expected only in the Form view, not in any other view.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

It only works in list view while editing the field
The choice dependency doesn't work on report level when you apply filter conditions etc and also not on filter condition on table list.
It's platform behavior and you cannot do anything for this
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
