Lab 1.0 Configure OT Incident Management with Guided Setup [Xanadu]

Greetings,

I am a new learner for the ServiceNow platform, learning about the SN OT product suite. I am taking the OT Incident Management training and have completed the lecture portion. I have the Instance up and running. This specific lab didn't have the steps and verify lab that my other training had, but requests that you download a lab guide:

Select here to download the lab guide.

Lab objectives:

Assign roles to users
Migrate OT incidents
Create a new OT incident category
Create an incident state model
Create an OT incident"

When I click on the "here", I get the following error:

Security Constraints prevents you from accessing the attachment

This is on my personal system and nothing is being blocked on my side.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @kenkatz

I see the same error in my Now Learning profile, so it seems there might be an issue with the attachment link itself. I recommend reaching out to the Now Learning team for assistance. As a workaround, I successfully downloaded the PDF of the same course in a different language, confirming that it's not a security access issue.

Hope this helps!

Hello @kenkatz

The security constraints error comes in ServiceNow when you do not have enough Access

Are you in the correct scope?

Are you logged in as a admin user?

Check these two things...

Please mark the answer as helpful and correct if helped.

Kind Regards,

I am logged in as myself in nowlearning. This is not an issue within the lab, but getting the lab instructions. For the Essentials lab 1.0, the PDF was shown and I could (and did) download it. For this lab, there was only a link, and the link gave the above error. I am currently reviewing the Essentials lab. I will post screenshots of my issue when I am done.

Hi @kenkatz

Are you intentionally impersonating a user as instructed, or is it possible that you're already impersonating someone and encountering this error?

This is not an issue within the lab, but with the lab instructions.
