Want to learn more about how the Now Platform integrates applications seamlessly without code? It all centers around the magic of IntegrationHub. Recently, Now Learning worked its magic, creating new IntegrationHub courses to help fuse everything you need together.

If you are new to IntegrationHub, this Now Platform feature enables the execution of third-party APIs as a part of a flow when a specific event occurs in ServiceNow. These integrations, referred to as spokes, are easy to configure and enable you to quickly add powerful actions to integrate without writing a script.

Cool, huh? So, let's get into the Now Learning changes and all those new IntegrationHub courses you need to know about.

1) IntegrationHub Fundamentals is now three separate courses

The IntegrationHub Fundamentals course available in Now Learning demonstrates how to quickly implement both existing and custom integrations using user-friendly, reusable 'actions' in the Flow Designer. Starting in the Rome release, its course content is divided into three courses within the new IntegrationHub Essentials learning path.

IntegrationHub Essentials

This change allows learners to customize their training to target their needs. For example, a manager might complete IntegrationHub: Introduction to learn IntegrationHub concepts, but not the other two core courses, which go into more technical detail. This is similar to why the Flow Designer Fundamentals course was previously transformed into the Flow Designer Essentials learning path containing two separate courses: Flow Designer: Create a Flow and Flow Designer: Create Subflows and Actions

If you have already completed IntegrationHub Fundamentals, there is no need to complete the new IntergationHub Essentials learning path unless you want a refresher. Both offerings cover the same content. IntegrationHub Fundamentals is scheduled to retire on Monday, December 6, 2021. Those currently enrolled in IntegrationHub Fundamentals can still complete the course before its retirement date. New enrollments should complete the IntegrationHub Essentials learning path instead.

2) Many new IntegrationHub courses added

The Now Learning curriculum development team has been busy bringing you even more IntegrationHub offerings. In addition to the three new courses created by dividing IntegrationHub Fundamentals, many other new IntegrationHub courses were also added.

There are nine new micro-courses for creating different kinds of IntegrationHub spokes.

There are also two new courses related to integrations involving a MID Server.

Check out these new Now Learning courses to keep your integration projects plugged into success. The graphic above shows how a learner might progress through the courses to meet their goals. Now you can connect the world of work even better. Go get those course badges!
