Recommended to take Configuration Management Database course for CSA?

I'm a developer but I'm going to take the CSA exam soon. I've completed the required courses and got the exam voucher. Once this exam is done I will take the CAD (I have the voucher for that also). To get (more) ready for CAD I would like to take these two courses soon, because Service portal is a weak spot for me:

Service Portal Fundamentals
Service Portal Advanced

But "CMDB" is listed on the blueprint for CSA, and while I've watched a great many videos on CMDB, it's not my strong point. The learning site has a hefty (20 hours) course on CMDB:

Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals

And so I'm trying to decide what to do next:

A. Take the two developer courses shown above, to help get ready for CAD, or

B. Take the CMDB course to help get ready for CSA

Can anyone comment on this, particularly on how much the CSA exam depends on the content of that CMDB course?

Hi,

CSA is all about basic platform knowledge as well as few basic terms related with IT and ITSM. If you have basic understanding of CMDB in ServiceNow. What all tables involved and how relationships are managed. What is CMDB and how it is useful for an organization.

Then you may not need to put more effort to learn CMDB in detail. 

Anyway you are planning to appear to take CAD and as a ServiceNow developer detail knowledge of CMDB will be helpful in future. 

Gaining additional knowledge will not affect. I hope it is not adding additional cost to complete CMDB course(if yes then you may skip it and learn basics through free sources, that would be sufficient)
