Not sure if it would be helpful in finding a job directly as an outcome of the program but here is a post from the previous that has some additional details.
If my response proves useful, please indicate by selecting ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @fmaxwell
I’m a ServiceNow trainer and also a guest speaker for the RiseUp and NextGen programs. If you’re asking about the RiseUp program — yes, it’s a great foundation to start or build your career in ServiceNow.
Through RiseUp, you can work toward certifications like CSA, and I believe CAD is also available now. One of the best parts of RiseUp is that it gives you the opportunity to work on a real project, which adds practical value to your learning. I’ve heard several success stories of individuals who completed the RiseUp program and secured jobs afterward.
That said, I highly recommend that alongside the RiseUp course, you also focus on building your overall skill set. The job market is very dynamic, and expanding your portfolio increases your chances of landing a job. Employers value professionals who have hands-on experience across multiple modules — consider exploring areas like ITSM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
Currently, the training is free, which is an excellent opportunity. However, the main challenge is gaining real-world experience. To tackle this, I suggest actively participating in the ServiceNow Community. Spend at least 1–2 hours a day reading posts, answering questions, and learning from others. This will not only boost your knowledge but also build your confidence over time.
If your goal is to become a developer, mastering scripting is essential. You can find many hands-on exercises and resources on developer.servicenow.com to improve your scripting skills and enhance your technical portfolio.
Start with the CSA certification and then chart your next path — whether it’s as a developer, business analyst, change manager, or project manager. A strong foundation will give you the flexibility to pursue the domain that aligns best with your interests and career goals.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
