Hi all,
Quick question to all. We will upgrade and clone our instance soon, and I need to save my update sets to re-deploy once the upgrade and clone is complete.
If I 'Export Update Set Batch to XML' will it automatically save all the child update sets inside or do I need to save 1 by 1?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @rafas_10 ,
- Here's how it works:
- When you create an Update Set Batch, you group multiple update sets together.
Exporting the batch to XML will generate a single XML file that contains all the update sets within that batch.
When you later import this XML into another instance, all the included update sets will be available for preview and commit.
Important Tips:
Make sure all child update sets are complete before exporting.
After importing into the target instance, go to Retrieved Update Sets, preview each one, and then commit them in the correct order if needed.

Hi @rafas_10 ,
When you "Export Update Set Batch to XML", yes, it will include all the child update sets that are part of that batch. So you do not need to export each child update set one by one.
Please mark my answer correct and helpful if this works for you
Thanks and Regards,
Sarthak
