My PDI dev299704 shows "502 Bad Gateway snow_adc" and won't start

Hello,

My personal developer instance (dev299704, release: Yokohama) is stuck showing
"502 Bad Gateway snow_adc" when I try to access it.

The Developer Portal shows the instance as Offline, but the only available
actions are "Refresh" and "Release". I tried Refresh multiple times, but it
remains inaccessible.

Request: Could you please repair/restore this instance without reset, as I have
important data and apps that I cannot lose?

Thanks,
Mahesh

Hi @maheshuppara

It looks like this is a common issue faced by multiple users, including me. I would not suggest releasing the unsynced instance right away. It’s better to wait until today, and if the issue still persists, then you can release the instance and take a new one.

Hi @maheshuppara ,

You have only 2 options - Either Wait or release and get a fresh PDI.

Update: My PDI (devXXXXX, Yokohama) is now back online and working fine.

Thanks a lot to everyone who suggested waiting! 🙏

I just wanted to share this for others who face the same "502 Bad Gateway snow_adc" error:

➡️ Don’t rush to do a Reset and Wipe (as that will erase all your work).
➡️ Instead, try Refresh Instance and wait patiently until the end of the day.

In many cases, the instance will come back on its own as the backend stabilizes.

This way you can save your data without losing your work.
Hope this helps other developers too!

Perfect mate, I am waiting for my PDI.
