How do I release my instance?

Can I request a new instance when I figure out how to release me current instance?

Thank you

Hi @jshill42,

There are lots of similar cases happening in recent days. Better take backup of your update sets and release your current instance. You can import all those update sets in your newly requested instance. Do it as early as possible. My friend lost his instance without getting backup update sets.

You can refer the following Community question also: https://www.servicenow.com/community/upgrades-and-patching-forum/servicenow-emailed-me-saying-that-i...

Hi @jshill42,

1. Login at developer.servicenow.com

2. Click on the options in the top-right corner. That will bring up the choices displayed in the screenshot provided here by @Dr Atul G- LNG.

3. After you've chosen the release option, you'll be asked if you want a new instance.

All data on your current PDI will be lost, so as @Dr Atul G- LNG mentioned, backup anything you'd like to keep before releasing the instance.

Hi @jshill42 ,

From https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do you can both release your current instance and request a new instance.
