Change Management Field type

Hello folks,

I have a requirement of changing a choice field type to a multiple selection on a Change request field.
So what I have seen, it's not possible unless in Catalog Item with list collector or in Change, but using list type and customise a table where to store those choices and reference it to that table. 

Please suggest if anyone have an idea how to proceed.
