I am new to ServiceNow. We are on BMC Helix right now and want to migrate transactional data to ServiceNow. I want to start off by testing some incident records from BMC Helix to ServiceNow and take it off from there. I know there are 2 popular methods -
1. DB dump
2. REST API
Can someone please help me get started in the ground level?
Many people have suggested on high level but I want to get going on something very basic. Like migrate one field from one incident from Helix to ServiceNow. That would be a great start.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
