How to notify users about the network outages

Your customer would like to create a new template to notify users who are affected by network outages at their site. Which module would you use to create a new notification?

  • A. System Notification > Email > Notifications
  • B. Administration > Notification Overview
  • C. System Properties > Email > Settings
  • D. User Preferences > Email > Notifications
  • E. Click Gear > Notifications > New

Hi @MaitriG ,

You have to go by this option -  Option A : " System Notification > Email > Notifications".

I have explained the below options for awareness.

  • B. Administration > Notification Overview - > Use for existing or overview of the notifications.
  • C. System Properties > Email > Settings  -> Use for email setting ( SMTP Server or Sender Address)
  • D. User Preferences > Email > Notifications  -> User for per user sitting which notification will received or not.
  • E. Click Gear > Notifications > New -> Use for new notification creation.
