I want to deactivate the Report I have already deactivated the Scheduled Report for the same Report

I can see Active Column but unable to edit it to False in Reports why?

a report is not about deactivating, but about deletion instead as it is “just” a report.

You can’t directly deactivate a report by setting the Active field to false — that field isn’t editable for reports in the UI. Deactivating a Scheduled Report only stops the scheduled emails; the actual report record itself stays active.

If you want to restrict access, you can remove sharing permissions (under Sharing > View / Edit access) or move it to a restricted folder instead.
