I want to report on "on hold duration" once after assigned to specific goup. help me out.

Please share more details like table name, if SLA configured or metric define on state for "on hold".

i dont think your need on task table .. instead you might have some child table record like incidents or catalog task.
you can configure the metric definitation [ table : metric_definition ] for "on hold" duration calculation

for catalog task.metric denifination calculates overall total duration from open state to closed state when on hold is true.but I need duration of on hold only ticket routed to specific of groups. main purpose of this is to report .
