PKG files cannot be attached in sc_req_item

We have tried to add PKG files in sc_req_item but it doesn't work, has anyone had the same problem?

Please navigate to System Properties -> Security 

Under the property - List of File extensions you can see all the extensions which are allowed to be attached as a doc.
