PKG files cannot be attached in sc_req_item

We have tried to add PKG files in sc_req_item but it doesn't work, has anyone had the same problem?

Please use Winzip or WinRar to open this file if you are able to open it or not. 

If you are unable to open it then it is the problem with file contents.

But PKG extension can only be opened in WinRar or WinZip. 

Try changing the file extension to .txt and then upload it in the record. Because you are able to open it as txt.

Did you check if changing the file extension to .txt allows you to upload the file ? 

Then this is the only issue and hence the error.

Check if PKG file type is included in the glide.attachment.extensions system property.
