What are communication options/template available "Out of Box" in Incident module of Vancouver

Exploration of available communication options that are available "Out of Box" and how we can utilize them to streamline communications and engagements through ServiceNow.  This will include the communications sent by Major incident team  such as SMS and EMAIL and any other communications.

That all depends on what you are using. SMS and Email are options. Banner alerts, Teams integrations (or other integrations with communication channels). 

There are call outs possible if you have that configured as well.

 

Without knowing your OOB situation, you will need to check on Docs for the answer to your question. Every instance is different OOB, since the box contains the plugins, implementation and configuration of the client using that instance, which is all OOB, depending on the licensing.

Can you please send me documents for OOB situation for SMS,Email, Banner alerts, any other type of communications, etc for Vancourver instance.

Also, how do i configure using the Configure-form layout options using SNOW PDI.

You can define a communication channel for each communication task. The communication channel determines which mode of communication to use for the task when a plan is attached to an incident. The modes of communication available are: email, SMS, conference, and Slack.

The adhoc incident communication plan can be created in the following ways:
