What role should be used in UI Action visibility condition?

Hi Community,
I’ve added a condition for my UI Action, but the Visibility > Roles field is showing as mandatory. I’m not sure what role should be assigned here.

Could anyone guide me on what role I should set, or what’s the best practice in this case?

Thanks in advance!

@Chandrakant41

the related list UI Action Visibility controls this UI action should be seen/hidden in which view of that form.

Best practice is to control the show/hide using UI action condition.

If you wish to show/hide the UI action only in particular form view, then only use that Related list

Hi @Chandrakant41,

there is no general answer, each client is different and has specific needs.

The role will be defining who can use this particular view and who cannot...

For example if you add "snc_internal" it will be available for most of the users, if you set it to "itil" only people who have itil or "stronger" (e.g. admin)... so you shoudl decide who is expected to see it and assign the role accordingly.

Let me know how it is progressing
