Hello,
I have noticed that some catalog items display differently in the Virtual Agent chat when presented in the chat. I've tracking it down to the VA render type on the catalog item.
My issue is, most of them are set to Popup but a few are Window or Conversation. How to I change it as all catalog items are Popup render types?

Please try to set the System Property: glide.sc.va.render_type.legacy to true along with the above property.

I used reverse logic, I needed them all to be CONVERSATION, I increased it to 30.
Now it is possible to make requests through MS Teams without the user needing to open a web page.

I am also trying to achieve the same solution like Bradley mentioned, to have the catalog items opened within the browser.

Hi @RRolling ,
Property "glide.sc.va.render_type.legacy " you have to make "false" to render conversation with pop-up type. for non pop-up you can make the property "true".
Please mark the answer helpful or correct, if it really works for you.
Regards,

We were informed by NOW Support that you cannot change the render type of the items manually. They are automatically set by the system based on different criteria.
They provided us the following article which explains how the system sets the render type of each
