Glad, above is just one way of doing. And yes there is NLU which is more efficient in understanding the query.

You can refer how to setup NLU etc here - https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-performance-analytics-and-reporting/page/administer/virtu...

If this thread answered your query, kindly close this by marking the correct answer.

Hi Murali,

@Murali

Had few queries regarding Contextual Search. When it is used as a Topic Block, for the following topic Block properties:

- portal: Is there a 'default value' for this that can be set through any property or any other way to set a default value.

- knowledge bases: Can we set the knowledge base of our choice.

Yes, when you update the portal and KB base and publish it, it remains updated for all user. Until the topic is again revisited

Thanks for your response!:)

Additionally, if we duplicate the OOB Topics like Greeting and Closing Conversations and create our own topic blocks. How do we ensure that when the chat is activated they show up automatically. I understand, that we can add the 'Topic' in settings as shown here. But, we don't get the 'Topic Blocks' as options under drop down here:

Hi,

There are few queries being faced by me regarding Virtual Agent. It would be great if someone could help with any data:

How can we utilize a particular Topic Block without using it in a Topic. To elaborate the same, for example when we use Greetings or End Conversation, it should be prompted as soon as the chat window is opened and should not be displayed as published topics. How do we achieve this?

While testing the chatbot, the previous conversation that was done earlier remains in the window and we always need to end conversation to start a fresh chat. Is this an OOB behavior? Can this be customized?

How do we create branching or move arrows so that they point to a particular element in Topic Flow. Meaning, when top down arrow is to be used, it can be modified. But how do we make an arrow point upwards, like used here:
