Removing Virtual agent portal widget from index page is not removing it from portal

Hi,

I added the "Virtual agent service portal" widget to the portal but I wanted to remove it. I deleted the widget from the page as you can see below but it still shows in the portal. How to disable/remove the chat window from showing in the portal?

Please help. Thank you

Hi there,

Have you double-checked if the Virtual Agent might have been also added through:

- Portal Header or Footer (Service Portal > Headers & Footers, select the Header or Footer which your Portal uses, is the Virtual Agent widget embedded in the Body HTML template?)
- Agent Chat Configuration (Service Portal > Agent Chat)

Can you verify?

For example, deactive:

Hi,

please check if Virtual Agent isnt enabled for all pages by checking the below.

Go to Service Portal > Agent Chat and see if you have the Agent Chat setup, if you have then uncheck the Active checkbox and save.
