Hello,
Our admins just set up a new San Diego instance. I created an update set of my VA topics (Quebec) and had them promote it to the new (SD) instance. However, the topics that have NLUs associated with them no longer have them and I can't see NLU in the properties tab of the VA topic.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks.

To get the obvious out of the way, is NLU enabled in your San Diego instance? (Under CI Home page -> Chat Settings -> Virtual Agent).
After that is enabled, if you're using an OOB model from ITSM/HR/CSM, ensure that those NLU models have been trained and published. Your NLU intents should be accessible to bind to the topic after that.

Hi Raj,
Did you check if the NLU related plugins are enabled in the SanDiego instance?

Hi Raj,
Plugin depends on the way you have configured your NLU model. If you have reused any NLU model for ITSM/HR/CSM and captured that in the update set, same plugin should be available in the higher instance as well when you promote it. You can refer this document : Reusing predefined NLU intents (servicenow.com)
Before checking the plugins, please go to the instance where you have newly promoted the topics. Go to the NLU Models, and publish your model. Once it is done, if the NLU model appears in the topic properties, just do this additional step every time you promote any changes in the NLU model. I have seen in some cases this works without this step but most of the cases, you need to publish the NLU model in the higher instance once you promote the changes. Not sure how this behavior should be, but it works.

Hi Gokul,
The plugins are there. Re-publishing the model doesn't fix the problem.
