Scenario

Employees apply for leave through ServiceNow.

1.Create a custom application.

2.Add leave type and dates

3.Use Flow Designer for manager approval.

4.Prevent end date from being earlier than the start date

5.Send approval or rejection notifications.

when we impersonate to manager and change the state field to approved but it is not changing in user leave requests when i see flow showing waiting both trigger and ask for approval actions are not complete state but when i impersonate into manager and change the state to approved then both waiting sections are showing completed

3 and 5 are not working please explain

i have few questions

When manager approves, are they approving from approval record or just updating the form?
Do you see records in sysapproval_approver table?
What is the state of those approval records?-whether they are still in Requested or updated to Approved or Rejected.

I am almost done my project 

In my project when I impersonate and approve the leave request record .the record will updated and email should  be sent to the user which is visible in emails >system logs

But when I reject the leave request the record will updated as rejected but don't getting any email 

In ask approval action I write if else  condition then  chatgpt said that in else condition or false condition email is not sent

Could tell me about approval field is mandatory to fill it?

Is any service now developer group in telegram or WhatsApp for helping students in developing?

 in flow 7 th action is not running only at 6 th action the flow is stopped

 is there any service now group is there to help students while developing projects
