Flow Designer - Actions

Is there an option planned for future release in Flow Designer that allows you to unselect an action to allow it to be skipped while testing. for example, bypass Approvals. Is this an option now and I am not aware of it?

No, there isn’t any built-in option in Flow Designer to simply uncheck or disable an action like approvals during testing.

In real projects, what people usually do is handle this through logic instead of expecting a toggle. For example, you add a condition (like a test flag or environment check) before the approval step. If it’s testing, the flow skips that path; if it’s production, it goes through approvals normally.

So basically, the capability you’re looking for doesn’t exist out of the box yet, and there’s no official confirmation about it coming soon. The standard approach is to design your flow in a way that lets you bypass such steps using conditions.
