Servicenow workflow

Hi Everyone,

We got to hear that Servicenow will stop the support of workflows and before the end of year or may be after a few releases everybody will have to migrate to flows. Is this statement true?
If Yes, then by when shall we expect such a drastic change and till what level would Servicenow provide support to its customers in this activity?

Hi @Ankit GSK ,

I am on the Workflow and Flow Designer team. As of this moment, there are no plans to deprecate Workflow.

Internally, ServiceNow continues to migrate existing out-of-the-box automation from Workflow to Flow Designer, but ServiceNow does not require customers to migrate their worfklows.

As Brad mentions in his response, if ServiceNow decides in the future to deprecate Workflow (or any other product), ServiceNow will inform customers at least three releases in advance.

I seriously hope that workflow editor is not deprecated. We have all of our requests on customized workflows and have been using them for many years. This would destroy our platform. Even if support is removed for workflows, for me, working as a self-taught SNOW sysadmin who is NOT a programmer, this would seriously undermine my ability to work with SNOW.

It would be wonderful if ServiceNow provides some sort of conversion tool. This would make the daunting task of migrating extremely complex workflows over a lot easier to undertake.

Hi @Bimschleger, As per product for Xanadu upgrade new features, Workflows related to Vulnerability response is going to depreciated and need to replaced by flow designer.  Also URL for more details is not working and it going to Home page Vulnerability response. Please advise.
