Is it possible to enable space reservations only for certain people (roles)?

Can you restrict the reservation of Spaces to specific roles. For example, only a certain person can rent a certain space. Maybe this can be done via ACL's or so. Is this possible?

About this task

When a user criteria is applied, the availability of the reservable items in the reservable module will be displayed only to the specified users.

Procedure

Navigate to All > Workplace Reservation Management > Administration > Reservable Module.
Select the reservable module that you want to apply the user criteria on.
In the User criteria's related list, click Edit....
On the Edit members form, set the filter option Active to True.
Select the user criteria by doing the following:
1. Select the user criteria from the Collection column on the left.
2. Move the selection to the User Criteria's List column on the right.
  Use the Add/remove icon () to move the user criteria.
3. Click Save.
Click Save.

Thank Ian. I can see the User Criteria where you can set the users who can the module in question. However, it is not clear how to link the user criteria to a building, area, etc. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I have the same issue, I have set up a user criteria on my reservable module but it isn't working.. It is a simple user criteria that restricts visibility on me only (I added myself in the users related list), but other users can still see and reserve spaces.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help me please?
