Notification link opening up in WSD Portal not ESC

Out of the box email notification open the reservation in WSD portal, I can't find any property to update it to open in ESC ? I am able to find the code reference provide to /ws and /esc. Is there way to keep to ootb notification and repoint it to esc?

This is simply because the default mail scripts and notification logic in those worksplace notifications are coded to use the /ws portal prefix......there isn’t a built in toggle to repoint all existing notifications to esc automatically....if you want links in the notification to open in esc you have to customize the notification mail script or url generation.....

I wonder if someone from SN can reply how they using this code, as both option is mentioned in the code here which will provide which portal suffix to add :

in the out of the box notification, they hardcoded like this, where if they made it as sys_properties, we can switch it easily, rather then creating multiple notification.
