Hello community,
I have been trying to figure out if we can setup a single space (reservable item) to be reserved by multiple users in the same day?
Use Case: The building(s) sometimes hosts small events, and those people that show up need to be tracked. Typically they would all meet up in a community space for the event. Last time we did this, we tied each user to a reserved desk, even though not all of them, or possibly none of them required an actual desk. This is not ideal as it eats up our reservable items for that day, potentially blocking a legit reservation from making it through. None of these people are guests, they are all employees.

Are the desks reservable as well? You could add an option 'desk needed' to the reservation and only if that's 'yes', the desk gets reserved as well.

Hi @Mark Manders,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
All the desks in the building are reservable. I see what you're saying, but the reservation record would require a desk to create the record for that user. So in the event that they say no, then no reservation record would be created.
However that did get me thinking, if the reservation was never 'confirmed' and was stuck in 'awaiting confirmation' then the reservable items (desk) would not get blocked from being reserved by another user. (We ran into this situation when trying out the Google Calendar integration.)

I think 'reservation' isn't the correct way for these guests to be registered. I don't know your exact setup, but if there is a way to recognize such reservations (guest for event), you could cancel the reservation without canceling the registration of the guest?

Hello @Community Alums ,
After reading your post, first thing comes to my mind is: The person who is hosting the event, will be booking the Reservable item and they can add all the invited employees to the reservation. Is it something not fits your requirement?
