Unable to cancel reservation for multiple people

If I create a reservation for myself, I can cancel it without an issue.

 

If I create a reservation for multiple workplaces including myself, I am unable to cancel my reservation (or anyone else).  I get the message "You are restricted to edit the reservation. This reservation is read-only."

 

Is there a reason why this message is popping up in multiple workplace reservations?

The message "You are restricted to edit the reservation. This reservation is read-only" appears for multiple workplace reservations likely due to one of the following reasons in ServiceNow:

1. Role Permissions: Your user role might allow canceling personal reservations but not group reservations.
2. Record Ownership: You might not be listed as the owner or primary contact for the group reservation.
3. Business Rules/UI Policies: Custom rules or policies may restrict editing or canceling multiple workplace reservations.

 Steps to Resolve:

1. Check Your Roles: Ensure you have the necessary roles to manage group reservations.
2. Review Record Details: Verify that you are the owner or have the necessary permissions on the reservation record.
3. Inspect Business Rules/UI Policies: Look for any rules or policies that might be causing the restriction.

If you can't resolve it, contact your ServiceNow administrator for assistance.

I already checked that.  Again, I'll point out that I can cancel an individual reservation.  I cannot cancel a group reservation.
