Workplace Case State Transition

Hi Community,

Can anyone confirm whether a Workplace Case (WCASE) associated with a Workplace Reservation automatically moves to Work in Progress on the reservation start date/time as part of OOB WSD functionality?

If yes, what process is responsible for this state transition?

Hi @vadlasnow 

At least for our implementation, I can confirm it will not move to "work in progress" OOB. The fulfiller has to assign to themself and make the state change.

Hi @_raj_esh ,

We were also working on a similar issue where the case state was moving to Ready. However, we were unable to determine what was causing the priority to transition to P3 in most cases.

Since we wanted to create P2 and P4 cases, we initially utilized Flow Designer. However, this approach updates the case after it has been created. We were looking for a way to set the priority during the insertion itself, rather than updating it after the case is created.
