  • Business actors represent the roles or entities that perform work in your organization. Use the Portfolio List view to create, edit, and manage business actors and their associated business roles.

    Business actors represent the people, teams, or organizational units that perform business processes and activities. Each business actor can be assigned one or more business roles that define their responsibilities and capabilities within your enterprise architecture.

    Business actors help you:
    • Model organizational structure and responsibilities
    • Identify who performs specific business processes
    • Analyze resource allocation and workload distribution
    • Support impact analysis when organizational changes occur
    From the Portfolio List view in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace, you can perform the following tasks:
    • View all business actors
    • Add or edit a business actor
    • Add a business role to a business actor or create a new business role
    • Remove a business role from a business actor
    • Add a business process activity to a business actor, or create one directly from the business actor record
    • Remove a business process activity from a business actor
