  • Add products and configured items to the quote lines in CPQ using the embedded ServiceNow catalog.

    Before you begin

    A quote must be open in the Transaction Manager interface in the draft stage. For more information, see Create a quote from an opportunity.

    Role required: sn_sales_crm.quote_creator or equivalent.

    About this task

    Products are added to the quote through the embedded ServiceNow catalog. When you browse the catalog from within a quote in a ServiceNow implementation, Transaction Manager detects the ServiceNow environment and opens the ServiceNow catalog automatically. For configurable products, you can access the Configurator directly from the catalog to set configuration options before adding the product to the quote lines.

    Procedure

    1. In the quote lines grid, select the option to add a product or line.
    2. In the ServiceNow catalog, search for or browse to the product you want to add.
    3. Select the product.
      • For a non-configurable product, select Add to quote to add it to the quote lines directly.
      • For a configurable product, select Configure to open the Configurator. Complete the configuration, then add the configured product back to the quote lines.
    4. Optional: Repeat the previous steps to add more products to the quote.

    Result

    The selected products appear as lines in the quote lines grid. Each line shows the product name, quantity, and pricing information based on the pricing integration configuration.
