Modify product model

    • Modify a product record that your company sells and supports. The product record maintains all the product information used across customer issue management, quality investigations, service requests, warranty claims, and dealer collaboration workflows.

    Before you begin

    Role required: manufacturing operations admin (sn_mfg_cmn.manufacturing_operations_admin)

    Note:
    To create the install base items, you need admin role (sn_customerservice_manager).

    About this task

    Product models provide dealers and manufacturers with a detail of the products being used by a particular customer.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Workspaces > CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace.
    2. Select the List icon.
    3. Navigate to MCO Setup > Product Models.
    4. Select a product model that you want to edit.
    5. Select Edit.
    6. Select Update.

    Result

    The product model is updated with the latest information.
