Add a business actor to a business process activity

    • You can add an existing business actor to a business process activity in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace, or create a business actor directly from the business process activity record.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
    3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
    4. Select Business Process Activities.
    5. Select the business process activity that you want to add a business actor to.
    6. Select the Business actors tab.
    7. Add a business actor using one of the following methods.
      • To add an existing business actor:
        1. Select Add.
        2. In the Add business actor window, select the business actor and the relationship type between the business process activity and the business actor.
        3. Select Add.
      • To create a business actor, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create a business actor form.

    Result

    The business actor appears in the Business actors related list for the business process activity.
