Add a goal to a business capability

    • Add existing goals to a business capability in the Enterprise Architecture Workspace, or create a goal directly from the business capability record.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
    3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
    4. Select Business Capabilities.
    5. Select the business capability that you want to add a goal to.
    6. Select the Goals tab.
    7. Add a goal using one of the following methods.
      • To add an existing goal:
        1. Select Add.
        2. In the Add goal window, select the goal and the relationship type between the goal and the business capability.
        3. Select Add.
      • To create a goal, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create goal form.

    Result

    The goal appears in the Goals related list.
